Power Of Performance

I grew up dancing, and that was the first art form that I loved. I enjoy being able to perform for an audience, express myself dynamically, and the versatility and exploration that can be found within dance. I found the same ability to express myself and that passion through graphic design. For my senior capstone, I created a project titled "Power Of Performance," which aims to translate the emotions and characteristics of a selection of dance styles. I want to inform and educate an audience about dance and its various styles in an entertaining manner. To create an experience, the atmosphere and ambiance that you would feel when attending a performance at a theater. Designed to demonstrate dance’s dynamic energy and performance quality through the use of typography and minimal illustrations.
